I feel like I haven’t logged in here for a while, even though it’s only been a few days. After a long weekend of R&R, I went back to my workweek life with a little less joy than normal. Maybe it was the fact that I focused so much of my energy on doing nothing (ha!), but it was a rough transition. But as with most things in life, I got over it and kept it moving.
While on my weekend sojourn, I did what I love to do best: jewelry window shopping! I find myself perusing websites full of amazing jewels ALL THE TIME. The internet has made this favorite pastime of mine a really easy, low-stress activity. In a fantasy life I would own lots of the pieces I look at in awe, but in reality I look, admire and move on. There are some sites, however, that hold onto my heart for long periods of time and pull me back in on a regular basis.
One of these sites is Lang Antiques. It’s an antique & estate jewelry store in San Francisco, CA, and it has incredible pieces that literally give me goosebumps. Ever since I was bestowed with an antique engagement ring, I’m obsessed with looking at other rings even though I love my own. A girl can look, right?
